MapWindow ist unser persönlicher Favorit für den Windows-Einsatz. Es zeichnet sich durch eine sehr hohe Stabilität und vielen bereits vorhandenen Plug-Ins aus. Besonders hervorzuheben ist wohl die Möglichkeit Geodatensätze (Vektor und Raster) zu "reprojizieren, sie also von einem Koordinatensystem in ein anderes zu transformieren!
